Aleshire Gallery is a fine art photography gallery & studio located in the historic Granary Building in downtown Brandon, VT. Equipped with a darkroom, digital lab, portrait studio, and mini-cinema, we are a new cooperative-style art space offering studio access, classes, workshops, and occasional events.

Aleshire Gallery was founded in 2025 by artist & writer Benjamin Aleshire.
Born and raised in Rutland County, VT, Benjamin Aleshire works in both analog and digital photography, with a special focus on portraiture and alternative process printing such as cyantotype and anthotype. His photographs and letterpress prints have been exhibited at the Prospect New Orleans Biennial, the Generator (where he was artist-in-residence in 2022) the BCA Center (where he was artist-in-residence in 2012), the Burlington International Airport, the Green Door Studio, and the former United Bakery Gallery in New Orleans, among others. He has also been in residence at the Kunstlerhaus Vowerkstift in Hamburg, DE, and the Shakespeare & Company Bookshop in Paris. In 2017 he was featured in the The Times of London during his stint at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
