Cyanotype
Cyanotype is an early form of photography that produces prints in Prussian Blue tones. The chemistry I print with is identical to that used by Sir John Herschel in 1842. Since then, cyanotype has mostly been used to create photograms (silhouettes of objects, usually ferns)βin my work, I employ the cyanotype process for portraiture, combining analog film and digital techniques to create prints on fabric up to 5ft by 5ft.
